Elijah Nixon joined the KATC team in August of 2023.

Before moving to Louisiana, he worked as a Photojournalist in Columbia, South Carolina.

He also worked at KALB in Alexandria, Louisiana as a sports reporter.

He has covered LSU, Northwestern State, High school Championships, and other local stories in the community.

Elijah is excited about covering the sports stories in Lafayette and is ready to try the food in the area.

When he is not working, he likes to eat, watch sports, travel, and Karaoke.
