Ange Toussaint is your neighborhood reporter for Lafayette Parish.

Ange is a multimedia journalist who joined the KATC news team in January 2024.

Ange is an experienced journalist with over 10 years in Broadcast Journalism. Ange has always had a love for media, remarking that she was likely the only child on her street that faithfully tuned into the nightly news.

Ange got her start on local radio and TV in the Turks and Caicos Islands at just 18 years old- one of the youngest on the media team. Her tenacity led to her being named reporter and evening news anchor with West Indies Television, WIV4 News. During her time at WIV4 she hosted ‘What’s Hot’- an entertainment and lifestyle show. She later worked for People’s Television, PTV8 as a reporter and evening news anchor.

During her reporting, she provided on-the-ground coverage of the aftermath of Haiti’s January 2010 earthquake, Cholera outbreak, and Hurricane Ike's devastation in Grand Turk.

Ange was born to Haitian parents in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Her multicultural background fuels her love for travel, people, and culture.

Ange competed and placed second runner up in the 2007 Miss Turks and Caicos Universe beauty pageant where she also received awards for best talent, and best costume.

Ange studied communications and media studies at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida.
