How it Happened: The Bears won their first outright District Title in program history.
The only way to top making history is to add to it. Church Point will try to repeat as District 5-3A Champs with 9 starters returning. That number includes all-district junior running back Rodney Dupuis, who rushed for 1,776 yards and 20 touchdowns. Senior Quarterback Breelyn Jones is returning as a starter and is one of the fastest QBs in the area. When you add fellow tailbacks Gavin Richard and Tyrin McDade in the mix, the Bears believe they have one of the fastest teams around.
