Residents of Acadiana have begun prepping for the storm, grabbing sandbags from several locations and stopping at local stores to stock up on needed supplies.

Hurricane and storm surge watches are already in effect for Vermilion, Iberia, St. Mary, and Cameron Parishes ahead of the storm.
Flash flood watches have also been posted in several parishes. Voluntary evacuations have been issued for low lying areas that are prone to flooding. To see those evacuations, click here.
For a list of sandbag locations, click here. Sand bag locations in Breaux Bridge and Youngsville have run out of sand, but officials say that more will be brought in on Thursday.
