Louisiana Softball released it's 2021 schedule Monday.

The No. 7 Ragin' Cajuns will begin the season with the 35th annual Louisiana Classics on February 12th and13th, where UL will host No. 19 Baylor and Missouri State.

Louisiana's non-conference schedule also features No. 5 LSU, No. 8 Alabama, No. 9 Texas and No. 10 Oklahoma State.

UL opens their Sun Belt schedule, hosting Georgia Southern on March 12th. The Cajuns will play 24 conference games, with the SBC Tournament set for May 12-15th in Troy, Alabama.

The athletic department in their release of the schedule, stating: "Should disruptions or modifications to the 2021 season occur due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Department of Athletics will quickly communicate the adjustments. Additionally, the department will communicate specific entry and attendance protocols for home games ahead of the season opener."

Louisiana was 18-6 in 2020, before their season was cut short. The Cajuns return 5 "super" seniors, who utilized the extra year of eligibility, which includes All-SBC performers in pitcher Summer Ellyson, shortshop Alissa Dalton and catcher Julie Rawls. UL also adds several Power 5 transfers to their already talented roster, including outfielder Ciara Bryan (Georgia), infielder Justice Milz (Georgia), pitcher Karly Heath (South Carolina), shortstop Jade Gortarez (Arizona State), pitcher Vanessa Foreman (Arizona) and outfielder Jenna Kean (Arizona).

Also from Louisiana athletics: "Due to COVID-19 restrictions and socially distanced seating arrangements within Lamson Park, the facility capacity will be extremely limited during the 2021 season. These precautions are subject to ongoing guidance from state and local officials regarding safety recommendations and venue capacity protocols.

Season ticket holders will not be able to sit in previously held seat locations, as adjustments have been made by the Department of Athletics and RCAF to accommodate an improvised, socially distanced ticketing structure for the 2021 season.

Fans who were eligible for season tickets for the 2021 season are encouraged to utilize mobile ticketing. Ticket and parking pass pick-up information will be available at the Louisiana Ticket Office at the CAJUNDOME at a to-be-announced date in the near future. Please contact the Louisiana Ticket Office at the CAJUNDOME for more information by phone at (337) 265-2170."
