A memorial is starting to grow outside of Russo Park in Lafayette.
The memorial is set up for UL Lafayette Baseball Coach Tony Robichaux who died Wednesday morning. Flowers, a wreath, and a sign reading "Thanks Coach Robe! RIP 36," were placed outside the gates at the baseball field.
Robichaux passed away Wednesday following a heart attack on Sunday. He had undergone surgeries following that attack.
