LAFAYETTE — Louisiana host Texas State on homecoming Saturday, a team who the Cajuns have never lost too.
But don't tell them that.
The Cajuns have a full-throttle focus as they eye a path back into the Sun Belt Championship game. With five games to play, Louisiana controls its destiny sitting atop the Sun Belt West division.
Head coach Billy Napier speaking Monday says he's trying to 'raise the bar' and raise expectations during the back half of the season.
"You're in position where if you handle your business you'll get that opportunity that we experienced last year," he said Monday. "You have to compartmentalize these things. The big thing is, one week at a time has to be the approach."
