LAFAYETTE — FINAL: Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns defeat the Liberty Flames 35-14.

Louisiana football 0-1 on the year will look to pack Cajun Field on Saturday against Liberty.

The Flames are in just their second year for full FBS play. According to the Advocate, UL has won 10 of its last 11 home openers with the only exception being their loss to Boise State in 2016. Full stats can be found here.

The Cajuns are a two-score favorite and will be expected to beat up the Flames. When asked if this was a tone-setting game, Coach Billy Napier says "no."

"What happened last Saturday, has nothing to do with this week. We do need to learn from the mistakes and we need integrity and make changes, but each individual contest is it's own battle, own mission. That's how we'll treat it," Napier said.

The game Saturday kicks off at 6:30 pm at Cajun Field. Everything you need to know before you head to the game can be found here.
