LAFAYETTE (KATC) – Quarterbacks get so much of the spotlight and credit in football. But behind every great QB, or maybe I should say in front of every QB, is a sturdy center.
For the Cajuns, that’s Redshirt senior Cole Prudhomme.
The Eunice native has been the starter in the middle over the last 26 games.
Prudhomme helped anchor a ground attack that saw Trey Ragas, Raymond Calais and Elijah Mitchell combine for close to 3,000 yards rushing.
But it wasn’t always smooth for Prudhomme, as it took time to adjust to Head Coach Billy Napier’s system.
