LAFAYETTE (KATC) — For the Ragin’ Cajuns there are two mindsets heading into their road game at No. 1 Alabama, there is the “just another game” guys and the “big opportunity crowd.”

Saturday’s game in Tuscaloosa is the first time between Louisiana football and a number one team.

Anxious and excited is how linebacker Jacque Boudreaux described his emotions. Boudreaux and UL’s defense will have its hands full as the Cajuns try to slow down one of the most dominant players in college football in Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

Through four games, the Crimson Tide quarterback has a quarterback rating of 230.5. That’s nearly fifteen points higher than anyone else in the country and more than 30 points higher than anyone in the SEC.

“I’m treating it like it’s another game,” said senior defensive linemen LaDarrius Kidd. “It’s just the next game up but yeah I’m a little bit excited. I’m ready to play. The best in the nation you know. See what they’re about,”

“You just you know this is a high caliber team because this is the game the scouts are actually looking at,” said junior offensive linemen Kevin Dotson. “You know that they want to compare you to NFL ready people.”
