LAFAYETTE, La. – The Cajuns “Need for Speed” offense was on display Saturday versus Grambling.
UL running 73 plays versus GSU, but they hope their pace can continue to rise with a week off. Billy Napier expects for his offense to push into the 85 play range as the season goes on.
The hurry up offense against the Tigers took a toll on Grambling, as UL Junior Offensive Guard Ken Marks noted that GSU had “their hands on their hips” in the 2nd quarter. The Cajuns won the game 49-17.
UL’s next game is September 15th at Mississippi State.
