Prior to last season, Cajuns fans were eager to find out who would be the next great running back at UL, after guys like Elijah McGuire and Alonzo Harris dominated the Sun Belt for 7 years.
Trey Ragas certainly looked the part in 2017. Ragas led the Cajuns with 813 rushing yards, 9 touchdowns and a Sun Belt high 5.7 yards per carry.
After finishing as a third team all conference selection, expectations are high coming into 2018. But under new head coach Billy Napier, no starting spots are guaranteed, even despite the accomplishments.
But Ragas has no issue with having to earn it.
