Major League Baseball's draft is in 2 days, but the next NFL draft is close to a year away. But that doesn't stop mock draft mania.

ESPN's Todd McShay releasing his way-too-early Top 32 prospects for the 2021 NFL Draft.

The list included LSU Nose Tackle Tyler Shelvin. The Lafayette native ranking 22nd overall for the 2021 class and is considered the 2nd best defensive tackle in the draft.

McShay described Shelvin as "A nightmare for opponents in the middle of LSU's front. He consistently anchors versus double-teams, and he does a good job of moving quarterbacks off the spot with his bull rush. The counting stats aren't there yet (zero sacks in 2019), but you can see the talent on tape."

The Notre Dame HS product was the anchor for the Tigers stout run defense in 2019, as that unit ranked 21st in the nation. His 39 tackles and 3 TFLs don't pop off the stat sheet, but new Defensive Coordinator Bo Pelini's 4-3 defense should allow Shelvin to showcase more of his pass rushing skills.

Wide Receiver Ja'Marr Chase also made the list as the 2nd overall prospect. Chase was the 2019 Biletnikoff winner as the best WR in the country, after finishing with 84 receptions and an SEC record 1,780 yards and 20 touchdowns.
