LSU football’s defense has certainly made leaps and bounds over the past few seasons with the arrival of defensive coordinator Dave Aranda from Wisconsin in 2016.
In his first two years in Baton Rouge, the Tigers have ranked in the top 12 nationally in total defense. If the unit is dominant again in 2018, it may be due to a couple of newcomers in some key spots.
