PINE PRAIRIE — Over the last 3 years the result has been the same at Pine Prairie. A 3-7 record.
That result in 3A leaves them barely on the outside looking in for the playoffs.
Making it to Week 11 is something that the panthers have never done but are optimistic 2019 will be their year.
When you've never reached a certain height like the postseason, it may be hard to know how to get there. But the Panthers don't lack a motivational boost.
"We have a trophy case. Nothing for football," Pine Prairie Linebacker Caleb Matte expressed. "Basketball, track, cross country, baseball, softball. Everything else but football. That's gotta speak to you. You look at it, where's football? You play football. You want to see your program up there with all the other sports."
