Basile wins the Division III Wrestling State Championship, by edging out defending champs St. Louis and perennial power Basile in Bossier City over the weekend.
It’s the Bearkats 2nd state title as a program and 1st since 1991.
Senior Gavin Chris won his 4th individual state title and was named the Most Outstanding Wrestler for Division III.
