Westminster Crusaders
2017 Record: 2-8
How it Happened: In Vinnie Bullara’s final season with Westminster, the Crusaders struggled to find footing after an opening day 40-0 loss. Westminster went 1-3 in one-score games.
It’s a clean slate for new WCS head coach Patrick Clarkston who spent 2017 as an adviser/assistant for Westminster. Clarkston spent several season as Highland Baptists head coach prior to last year.
Clarkston is bringing new offensive and defensive systems. He has just three returning starters on each side of the ball and says we will lean heavily on Westminster’s freshman. Coach is high on the freshman class, but admits there may be growing pains early this season.
