(KATC) — The New Orleans Saints continued to get younger and deeper on offense on Friday when the team signed wide receiver Simmie Cobbs Jr. off of the Redskins practice squad.
Cobbs, 23, (6’3, 220 lbs) was a 2018 undrafted free agent out of Indiana. And while he isn’t known for his speed, Cobbs is considered a physical player at his position.
In this year’s preseason, Cobbs had seven receptions for 109 yards (15.9 yards per catch) and a touchdown.
