If anyone knows what it takes to be a great linebacker, it’s Lafayette Christian Head Coach Trev Faulk

"The ability to make guys play better than they normally do. The ability to rally around. To step up to make a big play when needed. To say the right words to get guys to believe."

Faulk was an All-American at LSU before playing in the NFL for 4 seasons. But even he says he’s blown away by what LCA senior Martin Lee III has been able to accomplish. In 2017, Lee led the Knights with 98 tackles, 4 sacks to go with 5 defensive touchdowns and 2 safeties. He was named the District 7-1A Defensive MVP and an all-state selection.

While his work ethic allowed him to achieve so many goals, Lee was aided by some divine assistance to help him reach a championship level.
