The NCAA is adding three more bowl games in 2020 according to a Brett McMurphy report.
Wrigley Field and Myrtle Beach are two of the likely landing spots for the new games. That brings the total number of bowls to 43.
The report included that five FBS conferences received an additional bowl tie-in (SEC, Pac-12, Conference USA, Mid-American and Mountain West.) That group does not include the Sun Belt whose five tie-ins are the fewest in the FBS.
Louisiana football is 4-1, unofficially, in bowl games having two of those wins vacated by NCAA sanctions.
