A Church Point theatre is taking donations to help victims of Sunday night's tornado in Acadia Parish.
Scottie Bean Theatre is accepting clothes, non-perishable foods, and furniture through Friday.
The theatre's owner says giving back to those in need is a natural instinct.
"It feels good to give back to the community especially to the parents who have entrusted their children to come here," explained Yvette Tyler. "Their children have visited the theatre for different programs here, the camps, so to give back to them just feels natural."
