One of the juvenile inmates who escaped from the Acadiana Center for Youth in Avoyelles Parish was found and taken into custody in Lafayette, according to LPD spokesperson Cpl. Bridgette Dugas.
One juvenile is still at large after seven in total escaped from the facility on November 18.
The juveniles escaped by overpowering a guard and climbing a fence. The two who were at large were from the Lafayette and Jennings area.
