Driver arrested in deadly LaSalle Parish crash that killed two adults and a toddler

The driver of an 18-wheeler involved in a deadly LaSalle Parish crash has been arrested following an investigation.

Louisiana State Police say 33-year-old Joseph Pardue of Georgetown, LA was booked on three counts of negligent homicide, one count of negligent injuring, reckless operation, and unsafe vehicle operation in connection with a deadly two-vehicle crash on La Hwy 127. He was booked into the LaSalle Parish Jail.

State Police say that after an investigation, they learned that the child was properly restrained in a safety seat.

That crash which occurred on Monday at around 11:30 a.m. Two adults identified as 45-year-old Vicki Sears and 24-year-old Brittney Martin, along with a 3-year-old were killed. A juvenile driver received moderate injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
