Today, members of the Baton Rouge Community have gathered at Living Faith Christian Center to celebrate the life of Sadie Roberts-Joseph.
Services were set to begin at 10:00 am.

Those in attendance were asked to wear black or African-print clothing.
Roberts-Joseph, a civil rights activist, artist and icon, was found suffocated to death in the trunk of her car on Friday, July 12.

Convicted sex offender, Ronn Jermaine Bell, who had been living as a tenet of Roberts-Joseph was arrested and booked on Tuesday, July 16 in connection with her slaying. He has been charged with first-degree murder.
