Our game of the week tonight is much more than a game, but a holy war of sorts when St. Thomas more takes on Teurlings Catholic for a district 4-4A showdown.
Since the two schools began playing as district foes in 2011 the Cougars have won five of the seven games.
The rebels are hoping to change the course of that recent history tonight. They sit at 3-3 on the season. When they’ve won, they’ve won big and when they’ve lost, they’ve lost big. So if they’re able to put together the kinds of points tonight that they’re hoping for, it will be done in large part to an offensive line that’s been able to create big holes for running back Hayden Judice and given starting quarterback Wesley Blazek the time in the pocket he’ll need to pick apart the defense.
