Lafayette, LA - In Friday's Spirit of Acadiana, KATC's meteorologist Bradley Benoit spent the afternoon visiting with 6th graders at John Paul the Great Academy.
They covered a wide range of topics including how rain forms, what makes the wind blow and even throwing in a balloon experiment.
They also discussed different extreme weather phenomena including ways to remain safe from them as well.
