Summer rolls along across Acadiana with little difference in our weather from what we received over the weekend.
It’s another hot afternoon with highs in the low 90s and the heat index pushing into the triple digits by the end of the day.
Shower chances will remain minimal with only an isolated sea breeze shower expected, any activity will be isolated and short lived.
Moisture will increase overnight and it’ll be noticeably more humid by Tuesday morning, and shower chances will jump up slightly.
Tuesday and Wednesday will have slightly elevated shower chances and a few thunderstorms will be possible.
The good news is the more active pattern will wrap up in time for 4th of July celebrations to proceed without any weather worries.
