Acadiana’s forecast rolls along this Wednesday with another round of sunny skies and relatively low humidity.
A layer of clouds will sit around through the morning but the sunshine will gradually break through and clouds will clear through the afternoon.
Temperatures will be in the upper 80s Wednesday afternoon, and the heat index likely sitting in the low 90s.
While this is certainly still hot it’s not as brutal as some of the normal temperatures, and heat index we’re used to seeing this time of year.
We’ve got a couple more days that are exactly like Wednesday, except maybe a little more sunshine, so the rest of the work week is looking good.
The weekend is when we return to the normal summer forecast and this brief reprieve from the heat and humidity will come to an end.
It will also be a return of the daily rain chances which will continue through the weekend and into the foreseeable future.
