Monday picks up right where the weekend left off with steaming temperatures, and plenty of humidity to go along with highs in the 90s.
Sunshine will stick around in abundance for the majority of the day but clouds will start to drift in from the north.
These clouds will be accompanied by a pretty stiff breeze from the north, both the result of a cold front advancing through south Louisiana.
There may be just enough lift to spark a handful of showers and perhaps a thunderstorm or two but for the most part it’ll be a quiet day.
The largest impact from this front, however, is going to be a slight dip not just in temperatures but also the humidity.
This will end with lows that are down in the upper 60s the next several morning and no where near as sticky outside.
Enjoy this “cool” down while it last because we are back to the muck by the end of the week.
