We’ve finally made it to the end of the work week and heading into the weekend with us is a solid layer of clouds, warm temperatures, and a muggy atmosphere.
The pattern bringing us all of these Louisiana staples will dig in over the weekend and doesn’t look like there’s much to break it up.
This means that clouds will be locked in place for the rest of the day/weekend/week with sunshine arriving only in spurts.
Winds are going to be kicking around 8-12 mph coming in from the south supplying the clouds with the necessary moisture.
Temperatures will be well above average the next several days with highs pushing back into the mid and even upper 70s.
This cloudy and muggy weather will continue into Saturday, although decent rain chances look like they will hold off until next week.
Next week is looking very unsettled with a lot of disagreement on everything from temperatures to rain chances so be ready for an ever evolving forecast.
