There’s plenty of moisture across south Louisiana to start the work week, which will make it feel very spring-like over the next several days.
Monday morning gets off to a foggy start, a Dense Fog Advisory will be in effect until mid-morning with clouds lowering and even a few misty showers.
It’ll take a little bit for the fog to burn off and even when it does there will still be a lot of clouds lingering through into the afternoon.
Patchy sunshine will slowly start to emerge late Monday afternoon which will help push temperatures up into the mid-70s, well above average.
There’s enough moisture that could spark a quick passing shower and rain chances will sit around 30%, although any rain will be light and pretty short lived.
The fog will return later in the night and basically, through the rest of the week, we’ll see fog arriving in the mornings.
This whole week is going to be very spring like and temperatures will even approach the 80-degree mark, the next change arrives Thursday night with a front.
