It’s a quiet forecast yet again on Tuesday as we sit in between last weekend’s cold front and the one that is expected to move through this Saturday.

A solid mixture of sunshine and clouds will dominate Tuesday’s sky with neither one ever really being the dominant feature.

While it’s still expected to be cool outside the wind won’t be as blustery as it was on Monday so the wind chill won’t be as much as a factor.

The high will move into the mid 50s Tuesday afternoon with the lows dropping into the low 40s with some lingering overnight clouds.

There will be a slow warm up through the week and we could actually see the low 70s by the end of the week with warm, moist air moving in from the Gulf of Mexico.

Wednesday will be another quiet day but spotty showers could return on Thursday, but the heaviest showers will hold off until Saturday.

Saturday we will deal with a well defined front moving across Acadiana bringing not just a round of showers but some of the coldest temperatures we’ve faced so far this year.
