It’s shaping up to be another soggy day across south Louisiana on Tuesday as showers spread from the coast northward.
There’s still a good bit of moisture in the atmosphere, even after Monday’s rain, so it’ll feel and look much like it did on Monday.
The showers and storms that pop up won’t be of the severe nature but, with moisture content such as it is, heavy downpours will be possible.
After a decent bit of rain Monday it may take a little longer to drain so keep an eye out for water on low lying roadways, or typical problem areas.
The time before the rain sets in will consist of a heavy atmosphere with high dewpoints, and thus high humidity levels.
As is the case with almost everything in the late summer, the forecast will be slow moving with a similar day on Wednesday and even Thursday.
