Front brings slightly drier air but not much cooler

The front has moved through the area and while it never really brought much in the way of rain it did drag in a slightly drier air mass.

Dew points will go from the mid and upper 70s to the low 70s so from brutal and oppressive down to simply not comfortable or pleasant.

After the last few days though, this will feel miles better during the early morning hours before reality returns and the temperatures warm back up to their summer norms.

The dry air will essentially kill any chance we have of serious rainfall so get ready for a couple of hot, dry days through the rest of this week.
