Foggy start to Tuesday

First things first, a Dense Fog Advisory will continue across Acadiana through Tuesday morning until 9:00 a.m. and with good measure as visibility at times is incredibly poor.

Many places are reporting visibility at or below a quarter of a mile, and while there are some breaks in the fog you’ll want to take it slow especially early morning.

It’ll linger a few hours beyond sunrise before starting to clear up and even when it does it won’t be followed by brilliant blue skies.

Tuesday will be a mixture of sunshine and cloud cover, with the clouds slowly taking over by the late afternoon and evening.

This will be setting the stage for the next weather system which will be a fast moving front bringing us a round of showers on Wednesday.

While Wednesday will certainly be wet there doesn’t appear to be any significant property or life threatening rainfall.

It’ll take a little while to clear with clouds lingering into Thursday but eventually we’ll emerge from this next system just in time for a beautiful weekend.
