Summer continues to plod along the way summer does with one day’s weather looking exactly like the day before it and the day after it and if you were hoping for something different this forecast is not for you.
The heat and humidity is unrelenting with the heat index in the 90s by the time 9:00 am rolls around and the evenings and overnights are all warm, sticky, and sweaty.
A few showers will be possible in the afternoon, but the majority of us will be staying dry with rain chances around 20% at best through the rest of the work week and into the weekend.
Models hinting at a more unsettled pattern for next week which will bring us some much needed rain as drought conditions are creeping into Acadiana.
