South Louisiana in the summer can be a particularly easy place to forecast, and as we wrap up the month of June the forecast is exactly as expected offering no surprises.
We all know the forecast by heart with temperatures getting into the 90s in the afternoon with the heat index pushing into the triple digits by the afternoon, so the summer heat will continue.
Humidity will be a never ending, always present force will be out in full force which could lead to an isolated shower or two in the afternoon which is also typical for this time of year.
Don’t look for any significant change or deviation from this forecast in the near (or really long) term forecast as this pattern will stick with us through this week all the way into next week.
