There’s only about a week left in the month of June and the weather is responding accordingly with the summer heat and humidity in full swing for the extended forecast.
At this point everyone should be familiar with the forecast it’ll be hot and humid through the afternoon when there may be one or two showers/storms developing in the moisture rich atmosphere.
Wet weather will be very rare the next several days with a 10% chance at best to run into one of those thunderstorms, which also means there won’t be anything to help with the heat.
Temperatures in the afternoon will push into the low 90s by the heat index will be well beyond that and spend most of the day in the triple digits, and offering little relief even when the sun goes down.
It goes without saying that if you’re out in this kind of heat you need to drink plenty of water and all the other things one does during the summer to try and stay cool.
