South Rayne Elementary is taking steps towards high-tech.

“We know technology is a huge thing when it comes to the classroom, sometimes all the classes don’t have the items they need, that’s why with Jim Olivier Family of Companies, we’re able to visit South Rayne Elementary to Mrs. Phillips class to bring them some chromebooks and headphones,” said Baker
“Our class needed Chromebooks and ear buds to use for the Chromebooks,” said Phillips. “We use the Chromebooks to get on Reflex and play games on it for recess. We need the headphones so that the students can focus more on what activity they’re doing and they can actually hear their own computer and not get distracted by others sitting around them.”
