ST. LANDRY PARISH — Louisiana rapper Torence “Boosie” Hatch was honored with an official proclamation declaring May 10 as “Boosie Day” in St. Landry Parish.
Parish President Jessie Bellard presented the proclamation, recognizing the artist’s impact and roots in Louisiana.
Hatch expressed gratitude for the recognition, calling it a major milestone in his career.
Boosie is also set to perform at Boosie Bash in the Cajundome on May 9.
