(Press Release) Softball enthusiasts in and around the Acadiana area are invited to experience the sport at its highest level, and catch a glimpse of some of the best in the world in one of the most picturesque environments in the nation, when Team USA and Scrap Yard Fast Pitch compete in a series of exhibitions set for July 23-25 at Yvette Girouard Field at Lamson Park.
Past Olympic medalists, numerous professional softball athletes and rising stars are set the take the field when the USA Softball Women’s National Team and Scrap Yard compete at the home of the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns.
The two teams are scheduled to compete in three single games, with first pitch each night set for 7 p.m.

The general public can begin purchasing individual game tickets on Wednesday, July 17.
