LAFAYETTE, La. — Louisiana Baseball returns to action after an exciting home opener against Louisiana Tech Tuesday evening.
On Wednesday, the Cajuns return to host LSU for the first time since 2018.
Last night, Russo Park may have been at limited capacity in the bleachers, but the Cajun Nation energy was felt after waiting 360 days to take the field.
Louisiana did not disappoint as it defeated LA Tech 2 - 0.
"Obviously winning in anything you is a good confidence boost," said Cajuns Head Coach Matt Deggs. "So we'll continue to build up of it try to keep a level head. More than anything, what I do is worry about us and what we're going to do, making sure that we're great. Just in a good place mentally and physically to play a good brand of Cajun Baseball."
