The Sun Belt reworked its conference basketball schedule for this winter as teams will now only play within their division.
The move is designed to limit COVID spread and cut costs. Teams will play each divisional team four times, just two games with each school's traditional travel partner. Teams will play two game sets on back-to-back nights throughout the season.
The Louisiana men tip off the conference schedule at home on New Year's Day against Texas State. The women will mirror the schedule on the road. This year all 12 Sun Belt teams will make the conference tournament.
