Rapper Biggie Smalls once said "Mo Money, Mo Problems."

At Louisiana, that phrase would translate to "More success, More rumors."

Cajuns Head Coach Billy Napier has already had his name linked to an opening at South Carolina, after the Gamecocks fired Will Muschamp Sunday. While flattered, Napier did not want to address any interest Monday.

"You know I’m not gonna comment on a specific job, especially at this point in time," Napier said. "But I do think that all of these things are positive, because we're relevant. We're significant. We've been in contention. We've found a way to build a program, win games and do it a certain way. I think it's a reflection more of, a lot of people."

Napier is one of the hottest, up and coming coaching names in college football. He's 25-11 in 3 seasons with the Cajuns. Louisiana has won the Sun Belt West division 3 times and will head to their 3rd bowl game this season.

Napier views the rumors as a sign that he's apart of something that's special.

"It's humbling. But I think big-picture wise it's a compliment to our staff, our players, and all of the people from the top of the list to the bottom of the list that contribute to our team having success. So, I hope we continue having this problem. That means we're doing something right, and often times when individuals get recognized it's a result of the team having success. It's no different for our players than for our coaches."
