Most coaches would probably prefer to check the adversity at the door. Billy Napier takes one look at the forecast Friday and says bring it on.
"I think, for our guys, the tougher the better," he said Wednesday when discussing the weather for Friday night's game.
Coach Napier isn't about to let a December forecast in Boone dampen his spirits, though it will his feet. Temperatures in the 40s with certain rain has had some around the Mountaineer program challenging Louisiana this week.
Mid 30's & rain? I wonder if them Louisiana kids can handle it.

Rainy nights in the 40s won't be fun to play in, for either team, but I imagine many Cajuns can count on one hand the times they've played football in this sort of weather.
Wednesday, Coach Napier said the team practiced outdoors Tuesday night to acclimate to the cool air. A cool front in Acadiana may have come in the nick of time.
"We did all we could do to simulate, maybe, what we will see Friday night. But it's just part of it, right? I mean I think it's it's part of it," said Napier.
"I mean, it's why football is a great game and it's played in the conditions and weather is part of the strategy."
Kickoff in Boone is scheduled for 7:30.
