Louisiana baseball names Matt Deggs it's next baseball coach.

Deggs was an assistant under coach Tony Robichaux from 2012-2014. He's been the head coach at Sam Houston State sinc 2015 and has won three regular season Southland titles, and two tournament titles. He led the Bearkats to the Super Regionals in 2017.
Tony Robichauxdied earlier this month less-than two weeks after suffering a heart attack.
