For the third time Louisiana softball's season opener is being moved as a result of weather.
The Cajuns are playing in the UAB Green and Gold classic. The school announced Tuesday that forecasted rain Friday is leading to the change in schedule. Games scheduled for Friday are being added to Saturday and Sunday's lineup.
Louisiana's new schedule looks like this:
Saturday 2/20
12:30: Louisiana vs. Jacksonville State
5:30: Louisiana vs. UAB
Sunday 2/21
10:00am Louisiana vs. Southeastern
3:00 Louisiana vs. UAB
The Cajuns were initially scheduled to host the Louisiana Classic this past weekend and play Lamar Tuesday before inclement weather pushed first pitch back more than a week.
