Louisiana volleyball opened 2020 with a three-set shutout over Houston Baptist (25-12, 25-15, 15-19.)
All-conference hitter Hali Wisnoskie led all players with 18 kills. Former St. Thomas More standout tallied 37 assists.
Defensively Hannah Ramirez led Louisiana with 21 digs, Kelsey Bennett recorded 11. The Cajuns' 44 blocks was double that of Houston Baptist.
Louisiana hosts Houston Baptist in the second match of the season Saturday at noon. All home games this season are closed the public.
