Starter Brandon Talley allowed three runs in three innings, Jacob Shultz surrendered four.
The Cajuns led 3-1 after three innings, Connor Kimple and Zeph Hoffpauir supplying the runs. But a four-run fourth saw it all disappear. The Cajuns never got the lead back.
Shultz is saddled with the loss. He allowed 4 runs in 1.1 innings, he faced just 8 batters.
JUCO transfer Connor Kimple led Louisiana at the plate, hitting 3-5 and driving in a run.
Louisiana hosts Sam Houston State for a weekend series beginning Friday.
