LAFAYETTE — Everything is coming together for the 2019 Ragin' Cajuns when it comes to leadership and chemistry.

With head coach Billy Napier coming back for his second year, he’s already seeing improvements over the summer leading into fall camp.

“I think we have a core group of players who understand what’s it’s about. You know, relative to taking ownership of the team, really establishing an expectation, holding each other accountable.”

Although the Ragin' Cajuns have added a lot of young talent to the roster, the veterans of the team are accepting the challenge.

“Everybody knows what they’re doing. The game speed is picking up," UL Defensive Back Terik Miller said. "Everybody is learning why they do this, and everybody is teaching each other. The leadership roles, and all the young guys are buying in, so it’s a very good process right now.”
